Dr. Bryan Rasmussen, currently Director of the Industrial Assessment Center and Building Performance Assessment Center, Assistant Director at the ESL, and Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Texas A&M University, holds the Leland T. Jordan Career Development Professorship.

As a distinguished expert in modelling and control of building energy systems, he has garnered over $2.5M in research support from federal agencies, technical societies, and industrial partners. Notable accolades include an NSF CAREER Award and ASHRAE Young Investigator Award for research and teaching excellence.

Dr. Matt Elliott is an Instructional Associate Professor in the mechanical engineering department at Texas A&M. He holds a PhD in mechanical engineering from A&M and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.

With a decade of industry experience, Dr. Matt Elliott excels as a design engineer and project manager, specializing in the offshore oil and gas sector. Currently, he operates as the principal of a registered engineering LLC, offering expert witness services, intricate machinery designs, and comprehensive engineering consulting.

Saira Anwar (Member, IEEE) holds a Ph.D. in engineering education from Purdue University and is an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University. With over 13 years of teaching experience, she is dedicated to translating research into effective teaching practices, particularly focusing on challenging STEM concepts.

Dr. Anwar received the 2022 Apprentice Faculty Grant Award from the American Society of Engineering Education and the 2020 Outstanding Researcher Award from Purdue University. She emphasizes engaging and interactive learning experiences through innovative curriculum design.
